Our Staff

Lynn

We have 8 people who work here at Lynn’s 24-Hour Essential Child Care. Their names are Lynn, Jim, Jamie, Tori, Sande, Griselda, Michelle, and Brianna.

Each staff member is screened at the FDLE (state) and FBI (national) levels. All staff and household members must meet a level 2 screening.

Lynn has an associate’s Degree in Child Development and over 42 years of experience in the child care business.

All daycare operators and all substitutes must have a certificate(s) of course completion in infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) procedures and first aid training. These must be current and valid at all times.

Certificates of course completion are valid for the time frames established by each first aid and CPR training program, not to exceed two years.

Documentation of completion of the online course and on-site assessment must be maintained at the daycare facility and available for review by the licensing authority.

Tori, Lynn’s daughter, has helped out in the business since she was 13 years old. Tori graduated from nursing school and now holds her nursing license. Tori continues to hold her credentials to work in the child care field and is a sub for Lynn’s 24-Hour Essential Child Care along with other providers around the Pinellas County area.

Jamie, Lynn’s son, has worked in the family business for years, too. But in 2010, he left to pursue a career as a teacher in Hillsborough County. He is currently a reading coach at Mort Elementary and a past Director at U.S.F.  Jamie has completed his second Master’s Degree while still helping out on occasion, by substituting.

Michelle is a neighbor, a friend, and a substitute when needed.

Brianna is our newest employee. Ms. Bri works our Monday-Friday day shift and is loved by the children in care. We knew she was the right person to work here when she applied and completed all of her DCF training in just a few days.

About Your Child’s Safety

Your child’s safety is our greatest concern. Our family daycare home is located in a very nice neighborhood, but just to be safe, we have security cameras placed in strategic locations throughout our daycare, which allow us to view all areas of the daycare, inside and out, around the clock.

Also, people who are not on the ‘approved list’, will not be allowed on the premises. If you want someone other than the people on your ‘approved list’ to visit or pick up your child, you must tell us in advance and in writing.
